The Grand Estates Tour starts with a visit to the historic Vergelegen estate, founded in 1700 by the then Governor Willem Adriaan van der Stel. The vineyards on the slopes of the Schaapenberg (Sheep Mountain) produce beautiful wines under the gentle guidance of Andre van Rensburg. Guests can enjoy the wines of the CVC tasting - 5 of Vergelegen's best.
Delaire Graff estate on the slopes of the Botmaskop in Stellenbosch may not be historic but it is in every other way "Grand". The pristine gardens and well-maintained vineyards are only surpassed by the fine wines of Morne Vrey. Guests are taken through the "Icon" tasting in the Delaire Graff Wine Lounge.
Boschendal estate is situated in to the picturesque Franschhoek district. Founded in 1685, Boschendal's long history along with a new injection of life makes it a must see. We finish the day with the Connoisseur Tasting in the Old Manor House at Boschendal.
